We just started to review the above for a single family home. lt appears the
existing soíls as per the soil report needs to be first over excavated and then
replaced with a structural fill. Prior to the foundatíon inspection by the county, a
report from the soil engineer will need to be submitted to the building
department to verify the structural fill was installed correctly and that the
subgrade is ready for any concrete placement'
