Re: Teague Exemption
NWI/4 Sec. 18, T7S, R87W, 6TH PM
Dear Mr. Bean:
t,le have rev'iewed the above referenced proposal to subdivjde a 29 acre
parcef into two 5 acre lots and two 9 acre lots. Each lot will contajn one
single-family dwe11ing. The proposed source of water is to be new jndjv'idual
in-house-use wells for the two 5 acre lots and a shared well for the two 9
acre lots. The wells proposed as the water supply would intercept ground
water which is tributary to the Cattle Creek, an over-appropriated creek. Ingeneral, new well permits for lots of less than 35 acres cannot be issur:d
without a Water Court approved plan for augmentation. It may be possible t.o
obtain repl acement water from the
Company.
Carbondale Consol'idated Land Development
t^le cannot recommend approval of the proposed exemption based on new wells
or for service to four lots based on the existing we'|1.
Sincerely,
