Correction Notice dated 8/30/tg has requested a statement on purpose and use of the wet bar
and treehouse.
The purpose of the wet bar is to provide a place to store our wine collection and will be used
for wine tasting and entertaining guests. The purpose for the soundproofing in the wall
between the family room and bedroom 2 is the prevent disruptions between bedroom 2 and
the family room when work calls are taken from bedroom 2 which will be used as a home
office.
The purpose of the treehouse is a play structure. The treehouse will be used for play activities
such as playing games and arts and crafts.

Amended Plans for West Rimledge
David:
I have reviewed your proposed Amended plans for the west Rimledge project (both units), but before we can approve
these proposed changes we need to receive additional information. More specifically, whenever a manufactured
housing unit has ,nytiling of a structural nature altered or added on to it, we require that a structural Engineer
(Colorado licensed P.E.) sign-off on those changes to the manufactured unit'
ln this case, we need to have an Engíneer review & wet-sealthe following items:
r. Shed Roofs above Entrv Doors - These shed roof dormers located on the north side of the ADU create
asymmetrical loading on top of the cDoH approved unit, and they need to be reviewed & detailed by an
Engineer to verify that they don't cause undue burden on the manufactured unit's roof structure' There also
needs to be better explanation and information about what exactly the "frame" as illustrated on the North
Elevation consists of. ls this a steel frame structure? ls ít affixed to the exterior wall, or does it rests on a
footing? please provide additional information that clarifies design intent.
2. Sunshades - The steel frame structure for these proposed sunshades requires additional detailing from an
Engineer to substantiate that this structure is supported adequately. Again, a P.E. must sign-off that the
modular building will support the sunshade structure, and also needs to confirm Head-Loc screws (as detailed)
will actually ,rppo.t the weight of the steel frame structure. lf not, provide alternate detailing to support the
sunshade structure.
please provide us with the required Engineering of these items at your earliest conven¡ence so that we can finalize our
review ofthese ProPosed changes.
