Water Service for ADU
Greetings:
Sarah Ludington, owner of the above -referenced Property, has advised the No Name Creek
Water Association, Inc. ("NNCWA") that she is pursuing the development of an ADU on the
Property. In connection with the development, we understand that the County is requiring
confirmation that the NNCWA will serve the additional dwelling unit with water. Please accept
this letter as such confirmation.
The NNCWA is a nonprofit corporation that provides water to real property located in No
Name, Colorado. While it does have a limited capacity both in the quantity available and with
respect to physical facilities that are in place, there is currently sufficient water available to serve
the additional dwelling unit on the Property.
The NNCWA charges $5,000.00 per share, and the new ADU will require one share. The
share price is similar to a tap fee charged by governmental entities to provide for system
improvements. NNCWA asks that payment for the share to NNCWA be a condition of issuance
of a building permit. Connection onto the system will be Ms. Ludington's responsibility and must
be done in accordance with NNCWA's rules and guidelines. NNCWA's engineer, Zancanella &
Associates, will work with Ms. Ludington to ensure the connection is done properly.
