This letter serves as notice as per Section 116.3 of the 2009 International
Building Code (IBC), and adopted by Garfield County, that an unsafe structure
or structures exist at this property. It appears from visual inspection that this
structure has possible structural damage to the walls, roof and foundation.
The building department is ordering the owner of the property to have the
unsafe condition reviewed and inspected by a Colorado registered structural
engineer to determine the required repairs to the structure. This sealed
report is required to be submitted to the building official within 15 business
days of receipt of this letter. If it is determined the structure is unsafe to
occupy, the owner agrees to vacate the building until such repairs are made.
It is required by the owner, agent, or person in control of the structure to
declare immediately to the building official acceptance or rejection of the
terms of the order.

problem.
