At this point just a sealed report on the required repairs is needed. Visually it can be
determined the structures are starting to fail. From my discussion with Brian, it does not
appear to be imminent. Presently, people can enter the structures. At some point in the
future, this could change due to additional settlement and/or a combination of other physical
loads. The hope is to get them repaired prior to falling down. The other option is to demo
them before they demo themselves at a possible cost of human life or property damage. A time
table to do the required work to make them safe needs to be included.

Andy,
I got some of the reports, but nothing about shoring 268 and nothing that stated any
information about how likely they were to collapse. Do they each need to state that there is
no concern about imminent collapse?

I believe he has sent you a report. He was going to suggest some shoring for 268 Scarrow. I
do not know if he has sent that to you yet or not.

I did talk with Brian Kurtz. It does not appear the buildings are about to collapse.
Placarding the buildings is not necessary at this time. Please submit the engineer's report
and a time table to correct the structural deficiencies.
