1) ALL WORK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE (I.R.C.)
AND 2009 INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE (I.E.C.C.)
2) IMPROVEMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE ITEMS CONTAINED IN THE ATTACHED
"GARFIELD COUNTY BUILDING REQUIREMENTS". NUMBERED REFERENCES AS NOTED
ON PLANS REFER TO SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THIS LIST.
3) SNOW LOAD REQUIREMENT AT ROOF TRUSSES = 40 P.S.F. AS MEASURED AT ROOF.
PROVIDE UPDATED ROOF TRUSS SHOP DRAWINGS VERIFYING COMPLIANCE FOR
INSPECTOR REVIEW AT FOUNDATION INSPECTION.
4) UNFINISHED BASEMENT MUST BE INSULATED, CONDITIONED AND INCLUDE 1/2" GYP.
BOARD FIRE BARRIER AT UNDERSIDE OF FLOOR FRAMING IF ENGINEERED WOOD JOISTS
ARE USED (AS PER I.R.C., SECTION R302.13)
5) BELOW SLAB PLUMBING ROUGH -IN WILL BE ALLOWED AT UNFINISHED BASEMENT, BUT
FINAL INSTALLATION OF PLUMBING FIXTURES IS NOT INCLUDED UNDER THIS PERMIT.
BASEMENT FINISH WILL REQUIRE SUBSEQUENT BUILDING PERMIT.
6) BASEMENT AND EVERY SLEEPING ROOM LOCATED WITHIN IT SHALL HAVE AT LEAST
ONE EXTERIOR EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING COMPLYING WITH
REQUIREMENTS OF I.R.C., SECTION R310. SEE ITEM #28 OF PLAN ATTACHMENTS FOR
MORE INFORMATION.
7) ELECTRICAL PERMITTING & INSPECTIONS ARE BY THE COLORADO STATE ELECTRICAL
BOARD. ELECTRICAL ROUGH -IN APPROVAL IS REQUIRED AT FRAMING INSPECTION.
ELECTRICAL FINAL APPROVAL IS REQUIRED AT FINAL BUILDING INSPECTION AND
CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
