HomeMy WebLinkAboutCorrespondence for AMD to Manufactured HomeFrom: )odv Daniels To: Lindsay Krol Subject: [External] Quicksilver ct Date: Wednesday, April 22, 2020 6:39:29 AM I have a building permit for lot 6 that was approved last winter. But the economy has made me rethink the home i had designed for that lot. I would like to replace that home you approved to be moved to lot 5. In the meantime I need to make an application for an IRC modular home for lot 6 in the exact location you approved already. What would be the process to do this so i dont lose my costs in the last building permit, which i still intend to do but put build that home on lot 5. BUT I want to make sure to address your request for approval of your foundation. You won't be able to pour any concrete until your building permit has been approved for Lot 6, that is going to take at least 14-20 business days. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks! You would forfeit any fees paid after 6 months but you can generally request one extension which would extend you for another 6 months. But you have to remember to contact us after the initial 6 months has passed to request your one extension. Talked to Jody about moving approved permit from Lot 6 to Lot 5. He isn't sure yet what he is going to do with the approved permit for a stick -built home on Lot 6 because he is apparently having a hard time finding a crew to build it. A modular is quicker and easier to build and that's why he has abandoned the stick -built home and decided to go with a modular for Lot 6. Are you okay with holding the approved permit until he decides what he is going to do and allowing him to apply for a new permit on Lot 6 for a modular instead? He is not sure at this point when he will be able to build the stick -built home. Lindsay Krol Garfield County - Community Development Admin. Asst.
