PERMIT MUST BE OBTAINED FROM APPROPRIATE COUNTY OFFICIALS. ENGINEER MUST OBSERVE CONSTRUCTED SYSTEM BEFORE BACKFILL AND PROVIDE REPORT TO COUNTY. 17. THIS SYSTEM IS SIZED FOR TYPICAL DOMESTIC WASTES ONLY. BACKWASH OR FLUSHING FLOWS FOR REVERSE OSMOSIS UNITS OR WATER SOFTENERS OR FILTERS SHOULD NOT BE INTRODUCED INTO THIS SYSTEM. GARBAGE DISPOSAL INSTALLATION AND USE IS ALSO DISCOURAGED. 18. INSTALL BLUEBOARD INSULATION OVER SEWER PIPE WHEREVER DEPTH IS LESS THAN FROST DEPTH. 19. IF GROUND WATER IS ENCOUNTERED, THE OWTS TANK MUST BE ANCHORED PER MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS TO KEEP TANK FROM FLOATING. 20. SITE PLAN INFORMATION, NUMBER OF BEDROOMS, SIZE OF HOUSE PROVIDED BY PROJECT ARCHITECT OR OWNER. 21. LEACH FIELD MUST BE SURVEYED AFTER INSTALLATION FOR ACCURATE LOCATION FOR FINAL FIELD INSPECTION, AS-BUILTS AND WRITE-OFF. 22. NO IRRIGATION DITCH FACILITIES ARE TO BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE SITE. ONSITE LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION WILL NOT BE APPLIED TO THE OWTS SYSTEM AREA EXCEPTING TEMPORARY FACILITIES TO ENCOURAGE GRASS GROWTH FOR THE FIRST YEAR. 23. DOMESTIC WATER IS TO BE PROVIDED BY PUBLIC SYSTEM. 24. ALL CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GARFIELD COUNTY REGULATIONS FOR ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM DESIGNS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH SPECIFIC DETAILS AS REFERRED TO IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED REGULATIONS. 25. CONCRETE SEPTIC TANK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN CRITERIA OF ASTM C1227-12 (STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRECAST SEPTIC TANKS). 26. ALL NEW TANK INSTALLATIONS REQUIRE AN EFFLUENT FILTER TO BE PLACED DIRECTLY WITHIN THE OUTLET TEE OR INLET SCREEN IF PUMPED. THE INLET OF THE TEE MUST BE PLACED WITHIN THE CLEAN WATER ZONE IN THE TANK, BELOW THE SCUM LAYER AND ABOVE THE SLUDGE LAYER. FILTER SHALL EXTEND INTO THE LIQUID A DISTANCE EQUAL TO APPROXIMATELY 40% OF THE LIQUID DEPTH POTENTIAL 27. TOPOGRAPHY PROVIDED BY USGS LIDAR DATA FROM 2016. 28.
