Final Acceptance Letter

Mrs. Prokop,
On June 5, 2020, we visited the residence at 6191 County Road 233 near Silt, Colorado to
observe the OWTS repair installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT -6270. At the time of our site visit,
risers had been added to the existing septic tank to bring access to grade. A new effluent filter (with an
extension handle) was also installed in the re -aligned outlet tee of the tank. The existing pump and pump
chamber had been removed and replaced with the new 500 -gallon pump chamber and high -head pump
with access provided to grade. An electrician was on-site during our visit to connect the pump and pump
control panel. Also, the installer was in the process of replacing the distribution box with a new secure
inlet and risers to bring access to grade. After our site visit, the designer provided a video via email
showing that the pump was adequate to provide enough pressure to distribute effluent to the distribution
box. Also, the designer provided a report summarizing that the pump and control panel were installed
appropriately. In our opinion, this OWTS was installed in general conformance with Garfield County
OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required
regarding this permit. An As -Built drawing of the system is not required, as the new system components
were installed in the same locations as the replaced components.
