On July 14, 2020, we visited the Taylor Residence at 1600 County Road 259 in Garfield
County, Colorado to observe the septic tank replacement pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT -
6345. The plumbing from the house had been re-routed from the existing concrete septic tank to
two new two-compartment 1,000 -gallon poly septic tanks placed in series. Per our observations,
the tanks were installed level. Sewage lines from the tank to the Soil Treatment Area (STA)
were plumbed in a new trench. The contractor had installed a cleanout between the house and
the first septic tank. An effluent filter was on-site and was to be installed in the outlet tee of the
second tank. In our opinion, this tank was installed in general conformance with Garfield County
OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is
required regarding this permit. An As -Built drawing and final report from the OWTS design
professional shall be submitted to close out this permit.
