Subject: Retaining Wall Evaluation - 4424 CR 154, Glenwood Springs, Colorado
i am writing to certify that I have visually examined the stone retaining wall that has been constructed
on your property at 4424 County Road 154, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Stones used to construct
the wall are quite massive and are seated and stacked in a stable manner. I notice no instances of
stories placed in precarious positions. Also, the retaining wall height is generally less than or equal to
twice the average stone diameter. Thus, it is my determination that the wall is structurally adequate to
retain the fill behind it.
