As requested, structural steel special inspection was conducted per the IBC 2015
Edition - Chapter 17: Structural Tests and Special Inspection and Garfield County
requirements. I arrived on-site at 10:30 AM. I met with you to review the material to be
inspected and project requirements.
Steel bolt inspection was conducted on the newly erected pre -fabricated building
according to the on-site steel erection drawings provided by Pfiefer Guard -A11 Buildings -
Drawing # 18080. I observed all anchor bolts to be 5/8" galvanized anchors tightened by
the erection crew and checked by me to be snug tight per the manufacturer's
specifications. I also observed all frame bolts were found to be 1/2" galvanized SAE J429
Grade 5 bolts tightened by the erection crew and checked by me to be snug tight per the
manufacturer's specifications. Upon completion, I observed all bolted connections were
observed to be in compliance with project specifications.
