CONCRETE SEPTIC TANK SHALL COMPLY WITH THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN CRITERIA OF ASTM C1227-12 (STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRECAST SEPTIC TANKS). 24. ALL NEW TANK INSTALLATIONS REQUIRE THAT THE INLET TEE MUST BE PLACED WITHIN THE CLEAN WATER ZONE IN THE TANK, BELOW THE SCUM LAYER AND ABOVE THE SLUDGE LAYER. FILTER SHALL EXTEND INTO THE LIQUID A DISTANCE EQUAL TO APPROXIMATELY 40% OF THE LIQUID DEPTH POTENTIAL. 25. SEPTIC TANK LIDS, DISTRIBUTION BOX AND INSPECTION PORTS SHALL BE BROUGHT TO GRADE FOR 26.
