We previously conducted a subsoil study for design of foundations at the site and presented our findings in a report dated August 14, 2020, Project No. 20-7-359. The USDA gradation testing results presented in the report, indicate a soil type of R-0 for the sample taken from Profile Pit 2. Our experience in the area and the results from a separate gradation test from Pit 2 indicate the USDA result may be an anomaly and the soils on the site are predominately type 2 or 2A. We believe the septic system can be designed for type 2 or 2A soils. We should be contacted to verify the soils exposed in the septic field at the time of excavation. Other recommendations presented in our previous report which are applicable should also be observed. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please call our office.
