Richard,
Based on these photos, and a discussion that I had with Jim Wilson, Garfield
County Building Inspector, we believe this system was installed in general conformance
with Garfield County OWTS regulations and plans submitted to us for review. This email
serves as notice that no further action from Garfield County Public Health is required in
reference to OWTS Permit No. SEPT -6470. Please contact us with questions, or if we can
be of further assistance. I hope that you have a safe and happy New Year!

Ted &AII:
Per your request, I have attached various images of my garage remodel project including photos of
the excavation, the various connections, pressure tests etc. I've also attached an image of the
completed project. All of the underground plumbing and related pressure tests were inspected and
approved by the County's building inspector. Both the water and sewer mains from the house to the
garage are single piece 1" and 1%2" Purcore with no intermediate connections between the two
buildings. All connections are made within the structures. If you need anything else or would like to
schedule a visit to see first hand please do not hesitate to call.
Thank you,

Richard,
We received the existing conditions report. Any photos that you have of the
connections to the lift station and connection to the existing system would be great. Thanks!

Hi Ted:
Yes the project is complete. I had Sopris Engineering come and inspect the existing system and send
a report as to its status. Hopefully you have received if not I can forward you a copy. The County
inspectors inspected the underground plumbing and finished project. The connection to the existing
system was made in the crawl space and you're welcome to come and look at it if you'd like to. I did
photograph the underground plumbing and various internal connections at the lift station. The last
time I spoke with Jim at the county I thought we were done. Let me know what you need and I'll be
glad to provide.
Thanks and have a great Christmas,

Richard,
How has your project progressed? We have not been called to inspect the new
connection to your existing OWTS, as required in the permit, but we have heard through
the grapevine that you may have completed the connection. Please contact us to schedule
a site visit if you have made the connection. If the connection has been backfilled, do you
have photos that we can view in order to assess proper connection? Thank you, and happy
holidays.
