On January 14, 2021, we visited the site of the Rose ADU at 831 County Road 237 near
Silt in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS)
installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT -6580. At the time of our site visit, the contractor
had installed a 1,000 -gallon two compartment NORWESCO poly septic tank, the new sewer
line, a distribution box, and three chamber trenches. The tank, distribution box, and chambers
were installed level, with access to the tank and distribution box brought to grade. The
contractor had also installed an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The three
chamber trenches consisted of 14 ARC 36 chambers per row, for 42 total chambers and a total
STA of 630 ft2. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield
County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental
Health is required regarding this permit. Please provide an As -Built drawing of the system, when
available, for our files.
