Subject Mountain Shadow Place Development, Glenwood Springs, CO
The following deviations may be made from the structural drawings that I prepared (dated 03/18/19):
• The concrete wall separating the crawlspace area from the lower level living space may be
replaced with a framed wall of 2x6 studs @ 16" o.c. sheathed with gypsum board as required
for fire separation. Within the wall, provide a 4 -ply 2x6 column that will catch the LVL beam
that is over the living space at the marriage line.
• The framed wall in the crawlspace along the marriage line may be omitted and replaced with
6x6 columns at locations specified by the home manufacturer. Under each column, center a
20" x 10" x 70" (w x d x I) footing that is reinforced with three #4 rebar in each direction.
