FIREPLACES MILL BE AU 0MED ANYWHERE NIITHIN THE SUBDIVISION, ONE (1) NEW SOUD—FUEL BURNING STOVE AS DEFIED BY G.R.S. 25-7-401, ET. SEW., AND THE REGULATIONS PROMULGATED THEREUNDER. WILL BE ALLOWED IN ANY DIMELLJNG UNIT. ALL DWELLING UNITS MALL BE ALLOWED AN UNRESTRICTED NUMBER CF NATURAL GAS BURNING STOVES AND APPLIANCES. What this verbiage means is that you are allowed a maximum of (1) wood -burning fuel appliance — but not an open- hearth unit — and it must meet the EPA Phase III requirements for emissions. I suggest that you have your supplier confirm compliance with these requirements prior to purchasing from them. Our Building Inspector may ask to see supporting documentation if they have questions about the device. Thanks for your inquiry. I wanted to install heat pump/electric as primary but thought maybe this soap stove could be a good back up. What is the rule? Thanks Jody Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone 1
