I don't think so, as long as this connection will only be used by residents of the residence. lf the workshop will
increase flow to the existing OWTS, we will require an alteration permit to assess whether the existing OWTS
can handle the increased flow.

Subject: do we need a permit?
I have an applicant applying for a building permit for a workshop addition with a half bath. The space was originally
rough plumbed when it was built and is tied into the existing system. Does the owner need to get an alteration permit
for the tie-in?
