STANDARD LIMITED WAFRANTY (a) fhe structural integrity of each chamber, end plate, wedge and olher accessory manufactured by lnfiltrator ( "Units"), when installed and operated in a leachf¡eld of an onsite septic system in accordance with lnfiltraloas instiuctions, is waranted to the original purchaser ("Holdea') against defective materials and workmanship for one year from lhe date that the sept¡c permit is issued for the septic syslem containing the Units; provided, however, lhat if a septic permit is not required by applicable law, the watranty period will begin upon the date that installation of the septic system commences. To exercise ¡ts waranty r¡ghls, Holder must notify lnf¡ltrator ¡n writing at its Corporate Headquarters in Old Saybrook, Connecticut within fifteen (15) days of the alleged defect. lnfiltralor w¡ll supply replacement Units lof Units determined by lnf¡ftrator to be covered by this Limited Waranty. lnf¡ltrator's liability specifically exc¡udes the cost of removal and/or ¡nslallation of the Units. (b)IHE Lli\,4lTED WARRANTY AND FìEl\,4EDlES ¡N SUBPABAGRAPH (a) ARE EXCLUSIVE. THERE AFE NO OTHER WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE UN S, INCLUDING NO IN,4PLIED WARRAN'TIES OF IVERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE (c) Th¡s Limited Warranty shall be void ¡f any part of lhe chamber system ¡s manufactured by anyone other than lnf¡ltrator. The Limited Watranty does not extend to incidental, consequential, special or indìrect damages. lnfiltrator shall not be liable for penaltìes or l¡qu¡dated damages, including loss of production and prof¡ts, labor and mater¡als, overhead costs, or other losses or expenses incured by the Holder or any th¡rd party. Spec¡fically excluded from Limited Watranty coverage are damage to the Un¡ts due to ordinary wear and tear, alteration, acc¡dent, misuse, abuse or neglect of the Units; the Units be¡ng subjected to vehicle traffic or other cond¡tions which are not permitted by the ¡nstallalion instructions; failure to ma¡ntain the m¡n¡mum ground covers set forth in the installation instructions; the placement of improper materials ¡nto the system containinq the Units; faìlure of the Unils or the septìc system due to improper siting or improper sizing, excessive water usage, improper grease dìsposal, or improper operalion; or any other event not caused by lnfiltrator. This L¡mited Warranly shall be void if the Holder fa¡ls to comply w¡th all of the terms set forth in this L¡mited Waranty. Further, ¡n no event shall lnfiltrator be responsible lor any ìoss or damage to lhe Holder, the Units, or any third party resulting from ¡nstållatìon or shipment, or from any product liab¡lity claims of Holder or any third party. For this Limited Watrânty to apply, the Units must be ¡nstalled ¡n accordance with all site cond¡tions required by state and local codes; all other applicable laws; and lnfiltratols instalfatÌon inskuctions. (d) No represental¡ve of lnfiltrator has the aulhorily lo change or extend this Lim¡ted Warranty. No warranty applies to any party other than the original Holder.
