The purpose of our site visit was to observe the footing subgrade soils in the foundation excava- tion for the building. Photographs from our site visit are attached. CTL I Thompson, Inc. performed a geotechnical engineering investigation for the site (Project No. GS06535.000-120; report dated February 12, 2021). Our report recommended that the soils below the building be subexcavated to a depth of 3 feet below bottom of footing elevation and replaced as densely -com- pacted, structural fill. Our representative tested moisture content and density of the structural fill during placement. The structural fill was placed in general con- formance with project specifications. Based on our field data, as well as observations during our April 16, 2021 site visit, we judge the structural fill is suitable for support of footings designed for a maximum allowable bearing pressure of 3,000 psf. We are available to discuss the contents of this letter. If you have ques- tions or need additional information, please call. _r CTL I THOMPSON, INC rye%%,` L Ryan R. Barbone P.E.
