MATERIAL. CONTRACTOR SHALL STOCKPILE TOPSOIL AND GRANULAR FILL AT SUITABLE
LOCATIONS AS DETERMINED BY CONTRACTOR.
4. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT EXISTING ROADS, CURBS/GUTTERS, TRAILS, TREES,
IRRIGATION SYSTEM, LA\^JNS AND SITE ELEMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS.
5. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW THE SITE FOR DEFICIENCIES IN SITE CONDITIONS WHICH
MIGHT NEGATIVELY AFFECT PLANT ESTABLISHMENT, SURVIVAL OR WARRANTY.
UNDESIRABLE SITE CONDITIONS SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE
ENGINEER PRIOR TO BEGINNING OF WORK.
GENERAL EARTHWORK NOTES
1. AGGREGATE QUANTITY DOES NOT INCLUDE ADDITIONAL VOLUME OF MATERIAL TO
ACHIEVE COMPACTION.
2. TOPSOIL STRIPPING, STOCKPILING AND RESPREADING IS INCIDENTAL TO UNCLASSIFIED

EXCAVATION SHALL BE BACKFILLED PROMPTLY TO AVOID UNDERMINING OF THE EXISTING

23.GRADËS SHOWN ARE FINISHED GRADES, CONTRACTOR SHALL ROUGH GRADE TO
SUBGRADE ELEVATION, LEAVE SITE READY FOR SUBBASE.
24.FINAL GRAD¡NG TOLERANCES ARE IO,1 FEET OF PLAN GRADES.
25.ALL EXCESS MATERIAL, BITUMINOUS SURFACING, CONCRETE ITEMS, ANY ABANDONED

26.CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GRADING AND SLOPING THE FINISHED GROUND
SURFACE TO PROVIDE SMOOTH & UNIFORM SLOPES, WHICH PROVIDE POSITIVE AND
PREVENT PONDING IN LOWER AREAS.
27.SLOPES AT 3:1 OR STEEPER, AND/OR WHERE INDICATED ON THE PLANS SHALL BE SEEDED
AND HAVE AN EROSION CONTROL BLANKET INSTALLED OR MAY BE HYDROSEEDED WTH
BONDED FIBER MATRIX (BFM).
GENERAL LANDSCAPE NOTES
1. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT THE SITE AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH EXISTING
CONDITIONS RELATING IO THE NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORK.
5. ALL CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES SHALL BE SURFACED WTH CRUSHED ROCK (OR
APPROVED EQUAL) ACROSS FULL WDTH FROM ENTRANCE POINT TO 50 FEET INTO THE
