On July 22, 2021, we visited the residence under construction at 233 Elk Valley Lane
near New Castle in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant to
OWTS Permit # SEPT-6822. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new
sewer line, the new cleanout adjacent to the residence, ae new 1,500-gallon two -compartment
septic tank, the new effluent line, the new distribution box, and the four -row chamber bed. The
septic tank and distribution box were installed level, with access brought to grade. An effluent
filter was present in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The chamber bed was level, and consisted
of 14 Quick4 chambers per row, for 56 total chambers (672 ft2). Additionally, inspection ports
were present at each corner of the bed. In our opinion, this system was installed in general
conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield
County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit. Please provide an As -Built
drawing of the system, when available, for our files.
