(some friends who are builders also mentioned that structural isn't always required for an addition, which is why I didn"t think much of it when Lindsay said what I had submitted was ok). I have reached out to an engineer to find out how long he will need to create the structural drawings for the addition, and will update you as soon as I hear back from him. Thank You -Wayne N'a Z? However, we can't continue our review of these plans until we receive structural drawings from a Colorado licensed Professional Engineer which specifically address the following items: > Foundation Plan > Floor Framing Plan including wall bracing & shear > Roof Framing Plan including roof trusses, framing layout > Retaining Walls > All necessary tie-ins between new/existing structures 1 Requirements for this structural information are clearly stated in our permit application checklist (page 2) as follows: ISTRUCTuRALPLANS: PleaseprovidetheffolJowinginformationonthestructuralp!aris.b Design specifications to irhclude roof and den snow load, wind and sefsmic desigr and frost depth. Foundation plani shoyiiing complete footing and foundation dimeristons. Foottng arid foundation detatls specifying reinforcement and rererernced on plans. Framing plans for eaeh floor level and roof. Ali beams, columris, joists, rafters scid lrusses specified. 'Pre-manufactureJ structures require the engineers stamp, signature and date. Framirig /eonnectiorn details, braced wall liries, shearwall schedu!e, loaation and hold downs. Please submit this additional information to our office at your earliest opportunity so that we may continue with our plan review and issue a building permit for your project. In the meantime, we will place your plans in our "pending projects" file. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
