I'm sure that'tt save our ctient a lot of the permit fees. Not thinking, I simpty inctuded the valuation of the whole project from a GC. There is onty about 360 sq ft of new porch roof being added. One at the NW bedroom, one at the S facade, and one to replace the existing at the entry. The porch roof on the N side of the house will undergo repair, but the roof wilt stay in place during construction. lf structural engineering suggests replacement once repair has commenced, we witt tet Garfietd County know. Framing at this area was engineered as a contingency of the successful repair of some existing post bases. Ptease feel free to inquire about anything etse. I'll be out of the office by 4:00, but could take calls at the number below. Thanks, lsaac J. To get you a better valuation of the project, could you answer a few questions/provide a bit more info? There is roofing being added over4 different porches... are the porches existing? lf so, could you please give me the square footage of area that each of the roofing additions will cover? ,lfanyoftheporchesarenew, pleaseincludedthetotalsq.footageofthepatioaswellastheamountthatwill be 1 covered. Thanks, Since there is not a permit needed for the Stucco replacement or the window replacement (unless any of the openings are changing in size or use), then I do not want to include them in the valuation as that will drive the permit costs up. We're very happy to be doing work in Garfietd County. Edgar does not reatl,y check email during the work day, but I sent him a message to get back to you. I believe his labor and materials for the porches were approx: LABOR MATERIALS 58,750.00 35,600.00 lf the North porch can be repaired and not replaced, by square footage alone I woutd estimate materials at 40% lower (521,360). I have one quest¡on to help finalize the fees for this project. As this has a lot of work, but little in means of using our standard valuation charts for permit fees. Since this chart does its best to approximate the cost of building (materials), could you give a cost estimate that does not reflect labor as a way to value this project? Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions. Edgar, once I have this number, I will get this entered and give you a call to get a card number so we can get the fees paid and this project under review. I can be reached at 970-945-8212.
