PROGRESS REPORT
Site vísit made to observe subsurface conditions in the foundation excavation for the residence. Depth of
excavation was approximately 4 feet below existing grade in majority of building footprint and exposed
natural sandy clays. Gravel lenses exposed near excavation southwest corner. ln our geotechnical
engineering investigation report (GS06535.000-120; dated February 12,2021), CTL recommended
subexcavation to 3 feet below pfanned bottom of footing elevation. Excavated soils can be moisture-
treated and recompacted as structuralfillto retain grades for footings. Photographs from our site visit
