They apply the Flamepro treatment at their facility in Denver. This is a liquid treatment that is pressure applied to the wood so it penetrates the cells of the wood, a similar process to pressure treated lumber and plywood for wet applications. lt is for interior use, meaning it must be covered and not exposed to the elements. They are currently out of 2xI2 and they said it would be a couple months before they have new material treated. They only treat L6' long 2x12's. I have attached the submittal information for the treatment they use. They use this treatment on both dimensional lumber and sheet goods. There was another project on the same building that utilized heavy timber and fire retardant treated wood. See specifically 603.1 regarding roof construction and fire retardant wood.
