SITE EVALUATION A SITE INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED BY ODISEA ON FEBRUARY 16TH, 2021. THE DETERMINED LONG-TERM ACCEPTANCE RATE IS 0.35 PER THE PERCOLATION TEST PERFORMED FOR THE SOIL AMENDMENT MATERIAL. BASED ON THE INSPECTION OF THE SOIL PROFILE HOLE THERE IS EIGHT TO TWELVE INCHES OF TOPSOIL UNDERLAIN BY SANDY SILTY CLAY OVERLYING RELATIVELY DENSE, SLIGHTLY SILTY SANDY GRAVEL WITH COBBLES. ASSUMPTIONS THE LEACH FIELD WILL BE A STANDARD BED CONFIGURATION AND IS SIZED FOR SIX TOTAL BEDROOMS. THE SEPTIC TANK AND LEACH FIELD BED WILL BE GRAVITY FED. A DISTRIBUTION BOX WILL BE USED TO SPLIT THE FLOW BETWEEN LATERALS IN EACH LEACH FIELD BED, DEPENDING ON CHOICE OF ROCK BED OR INFILTRATORS. ON-SITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM GENERAL NOTES 1.PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION, ANY PERSON INSTALLING, REPAIRING, OR ALTERING A SEPTIC SYSTEM SHALL OBTAIN A PERMIT FROM THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT. 2. THE OSWTS SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION (AHJ) CURRENT REGULATIONS. 3.A LICENSED SEPTIC INSTALLER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COUNTY OSWTS REGULATIONS SHALL INSTALL THE SYSTEM. 4.THE SEPTIC SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COLORADO STATE PLUMBING CODE OR OTHER LOCAL PLUMBING CODES IN FORCE ON THE DATE OF THE OSWTS PERMIT APPLICATION. 5.IF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT IS USED, ALL WORK, EQUIPMENT, AND MATERIALS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CURRENT NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE AS DESIGNATED BY THE STATE ELECTRICAL BOARD RULES AND REGULATIONS. (SEE SITE PLAN FOR SEPTIC TANK VOLUME SPECIFICATION) 9.TANKS SHALL BE INSTALLED ON A SOLID BASE AND SHALL BE LEVEL. 10.THE BOTTOM OF THE LEACH FIELDS SHALL BE LEVEL. 11.ALL FIBERGLASS, FIBERGLASS-REINFORCED, AND PLASTIC TANKS SHALL MEET THE MINIMUM DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL CRITERIA OF IAPMO/ANSI Z1000-2007 (AMERICAN STANDARDS FOR PREFABRICATED SEPTIC TANKS). 12.IF FIBERGLASS OR PLASTIC TANKS ARE USED, ANCHORING MAY BE NECESSARY AND ODISEA SHALL BE CONTACTED TO MAKE THE DETERMINATION IF ANCHORING OF THE TANK WILL BE REQUIRED. 13.CONCRETE SEPTIC TANKS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN CRITERIA OF ASTM C1227-12 (STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR PRECAST SEPTIC TANKS) 14.THE SEWER LINE FROM THE BUILDING TO THE TANK SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH A MINIMUM FALL OF 1/8 INCH TO 1 4 INCH PER FOOT WHILE 1/4 INCH PER FOOT IS RECOMMENDED.
