generalconformance with the plans and specifications. Discrepancies and modifications are
noted below:
L, Roof dormer rafters were noted to be bearing on ã stud l<nee wall or toe nailed to a rim
board. An add'l Simpson 150 clip shall be added at each rafter, top & bottom.
2. The (2) 2 x B dormer ridge beam shall have (2) Simpson 150 clips added for the
connection to the 7 %" LVL beam.
3. The (3) 2 x B sloped beams supporting 2 x I common rafters shall have Simpson LS70
clip added each side and at each end. This is typical for four locations.
4. lt is acceptable to use 5/8" diameter screws x 6" long installed from each side of the
gusset plate connections in lieu of 5f8" diameter through bolts at the dormer trusses.
Reference detail L/55.4.
5. lt is acceptable to cut 6" diameter holes in the LVL blocking located in the upper floor
6. Entry roof changes were discussed and revisions are issued in "Construction" documents
dated 9-6-2L.

7, Nail spacing at plywood gusset plates varied and did not conform to the minimum
spacing show on Dwg. 55.3. Nail spacing and screw spaclng has been re-evaluated and ls
acceptable as built.
8. Shearwall details with holdowns at the garage door per detail 8/55.2 shall be field
verified by contractor.
