OWTS Permit #: SEPT-6849
November 22, 2021
Whitney,
On August 20, 2021, we visited the residence at 51 Sopris Avenue near Carbondale in
Garfield County, Colorado to observe the septic tank installation pursuant to OWTS Permit #
SEPT-6849. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new 1,500-gallon septic
tank. The tank was installed level. Risers and the effluent filter were located on the site at the
time of our site visit but were not yet installed. Subsequent to our site visit, the rest of the
system was installed, and inspected by Carla Ostberg of CBO, Inc., the OWTS designer. The
letter by CBO, Inc., dated October 29, 2021, indicates the system was generally installed
according to specifications. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance
with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County
Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
Thank you,
