Shop and Storage

OWTS Permit #: SEPT-6955
November 22, 2021
Mr. Tallichet,
On November 18, 2021, we visited the site of the new shop and storage building along
Stone Quarry Road near Parachute in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS
installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-6955. At the time of our site visit, the contractor
had installed the new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the building, the new concrete 1,000-
gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the four
chamber trenches. The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought
to grade. An effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The chamber
trenches were level, with 4-feet between the trenches. Three of the trenches consisted of 11
ARC 36 chambers per trench and the fourth consisted of 12 ARC 36 chambers (45 total, 675 ft 2
total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our
opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS
Regulations. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required
regarding this permit. Please provide an As-Built drawing of the system, when available, for our
files.
Thank you,
Edward R. “Ted” White, P.E.
