OWTS Permit #: SEPT-6763
December 8, 2021
Todd,
On November 5, 2021, we visited the residence under construction at 0131 Meadow
Court near Carbondale in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation pursuant
to OWTS Permit # SEPT-6763. At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new
sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,500-gallon two-compartment
septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and the four gravelless chamber trenches.
The septic tank and distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. An
effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The chamber trenches were
level, with 4-feet between the trenches. Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end
of each trench. At the time of our inspection, two inlet holes had been cut in the septic tank. We
received a report and As-Built dated November 26, 2021 from the system designer that
indicated the additional hole in the septic tank was repaired appropriately, and that the system
had been constructed in general conformance with the plans. In our opinion, this system was
also installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No further
action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
Thank you,
