DESCRIPTION OF INSPECTION WORK PERFORMED: Special Inspection provided to witness field welding of structural
steel beams and columns at Moment Frames and A325 high -strength bolts at steel to steel connections for general erection of
structural steel as required by the 2018 IBC, structural engineer and local building jurisdiction.
LOCATION IN STRICTIRE: Special inspection provided to witness field welding of structural steel beams to column
moment frames as required for main - roof levels and bolted steel -to steel connections throughout as required per approved
drawings and connections as detailed and approved by structural engineer.
REMARKS FOR STROCTIRAL STEEL Witness/ monitor field welding of structural steel beams and columns for Moment
Frames as detailed and designed by structural engineer. Welding was performed by certified welders employed by Alpine Steel
using approved filler materials and processes In accordance with AWS 131.1 / AISC specifications. Mill certifications for steel
elements reviewed / kept on file by fabricator. All welding performed In compliance with AWS 131.1 protocol. No problems
noted.
REMARKS GENERAL; Special inspection on this project was performed per the special inspection requirements
adopted from the 20181BC by the Garfield County Building Department as part of the approved plan.
ALL WORK REFERENCED ABOVE VERIFIED BY INDUSTRIAL INSPECTION SERVICES PERSONNEL FOR WORK PERFORMED
JANUARY 2022 WAS SATISFACTORILY COMPLETED AND CONFORMS TO THE AP OVE PLANS, THE 2018
INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODES (IBC), THE A E D PROVISIONS OF THE D1 AND THE AISC MANUAL OF STEEL
