On March 31, 2022, we visited the site of the Placek Residence under construction at 68
Scutter Ridge Road near Silt in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation
pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7359. At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the
new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,000-gallon two-
compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, and the three sequential gravelless chamber
trenches. The septic tank was installed level with access brought to grade. An effluent filter had
been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The trenches were level, with 4-feet between
the trenches. The trenches consisted of 18 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (54 total
chambers, 648 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each
trench. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County
OWTS Regulations. Please submit an As-built drawing of the system when available. No further
action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
