I will need to defer this MAJOR gradÍng permit in Cerise Ranch to Community Development Director or a high authority
Chris Hale has completed the second review on a case started with Dave Argo.
He will be returning the 2nd submittal set around noon tomorrow.
Dave Argo's original revíew set is settíng on the CBO desk.
Unfortunately, the pending issues (easements etc) are above and beyond my area of expertise and role as a plans
examiner.
I won't be able to work further on this MAJOR GRADING application.

I have reviewed the additional materials províded and JVA's responses to the previous comments. JVA has addressed
most comments but propose to provide easement information in as-builts or in engineering plans to be provided
later. The issue with this is that the proposed alignment and utilities would trespass on other private property. Wíthout
some easements or commitments from these Owners to provide these easements, the grading permit would not be
approvable. Short of providing recorded dedicated easements, lt may be worthwhíle to involve the County Attorney to
determine what would be an acceptable proof of permission from these impacted owners.

Do you need me to return the hard copies that you provided? Let me know. Thanks in advance

No sorry I did not call or leave a message with the contractor or others concerning the Ceríse Ranch GRAD- permít. FYl,
we did receive a reply from Chris Hale, the Referring Engineer of Record, who is in progress of returning REVISED
documents back to the Community Development Department main desk today, and I did forward Chris' communication
onto our Community Development Dírector, Sheryl Bower. I wíll be back ín the main office early tomorrow, and will
check with leadership.

Thank you for the cc: and for providing response comments, I was able to open your emailed attachments.
Dave Argo, Chief Buildíng Official, left employment with Garfield County on February 22,2022.
Unfortunately, I do not have an estimated timetable to offer on how soon we will be able to respond and process Lot 52
Grading Permit.
The CBO position has not been filled, and we are sortíng through workflows now.
l'll communicate with internal teammates and our Department Head to determine who will be assigned to complete the
case moving forward.

Please follow-up by addressing these corrections at your earliest convenience wíth submission of any
supplemental/amended plans or other correspondence addressing all outstandíng issues. Our office cannot issue the
Grading Permit until we have received response to these items.
