ln regards to the buildíng permit this building/ barn is purely for storage. lt does have a man door next to the over size
door . There are no interior walls and no utilities. lf you have any other questions please let me know

Sending a courtesy update to let you know l'm performing the code review for your buildíng plans.
The building application form "describe work" states "batn".
As there is no labeled floor plans, I am requesting to confirm proposed building use and interior elements:
L. W¡ll you use the as a detached, private use garage accessory to the main residence?
2. lf used (in whole or part) for vehicular use, will there be a 3 ft x 7 ft or similar size "man door" installed for
emergency escape and rescue?

3. W¡ll the barn be for use as defined in the 2015 IBC: Agricultural building. A structure designed and constructed
to house farm implements, hay, grain, poultry, livestock or other horticultural products. This structure shall not
be a place of human habitation or a place of employment where agricultural products are processed, treated or
packaged, nor shall it be a place used by the public.
4. Will the building remain for private use by the residents of the lot and not for 'commercial business' operations?
5. Will there be any electríc power or water / sewer service connections to the buildine?
6. Will there be any natural gas or propâne- fueled equipment installed in the building?
Any clarification you can offer on questions L-6 is most appreciated. Your answers will help determine whích sections
of code to apply to the build.
