Uriel,
On May 25, 2022, we visited the residence under construction at Lot 24 of the Callicotte
Ranch subdivision near Carbondale in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS
installation pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7119. At the time of our site visits, the contractor
had installed the new sewer line, the new cleanout adjacent to the residence, a new 1,250-
gallon two-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter in the outlet tee of the tank, the new
effluent line, the distribution box, and the three chamber trenches. The septic tank and
distribution box were installed level with access brought to grade. The chamber bed trenches
were level, and consisted of 21 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per row, for 63 total chambers (756
ft2). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. In our opinion, this
system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. No
further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this
permit. Please provide an As-Built drawing of the system, when available, for our files.
