As requested, ERS Consulting Engineers has reviewed the following items flagged during the framing
ínspection at the above referenced property.
1. Window headers @ south end of great room.
¡ lnstall (21-IL 7 /8" LVL headers above both the upper windows (upper level loft 200) and
the lower windows (living room 112).
2. Header at window 17.
o A solid header, with the top cut to the slope of the roof is sufficient for this window.
The double top plate shall remain intact with the sloped header tight to the underside of
the plates.
3. Simpson hurricane clips @ TJI roof joist bearing along interior glulam beam.
¡ lnstall (l)-Símpson HGA1OKT clip in every other bay (between joists) at the interface of
the rim board & the top of the glulam beam.
4. Hangerspecifications.
. Typical hangers for wood l-joísts (where requíredlshall be Simpson MlU237/L1..88
. Typical hanger for (2)-1.1 7 f8" LVL's (where required) shall be Simpson HU412 (max)
