1. All concrete shall contain six 90 pound sacks of Type II cement per cubic yard, 3/+ inch
maximum size aggregate, 2"/o to 4"/o entrained air, and shall be placed in futl accordance with
all provisions of the current version of ACI-318.
2. All reinforcing steel shall conform to ASTM A-6L5, Grade 6O or equivalent strength
fiberglass rebar.
3. Design slab on grade floor load is 100 lbs./sq. ft., live.
4. Design nominal snow load is 40lbs./sq. ft.
5. Design wind load is 115 mptu per IRC 'Exposure B' requirements at a density altitude of
6,200 ft., mean sea level.
6. Design earthquake is per IRC'Zone B' requirements.
7. Design soil conditions are 4.5 KiPisq. ft., maximum net bearing and 0 minimum dead load,
per Bear Valley Design, Ltd. Letter dated June 3, 2022.
8. Atl details enumerated in the letter referenced in 7. Must be executed in full.
9. All footers MUST be placed on native undisturbed sandy gravel, per the Bear Valley Desigo
Ltd,., letter referenced in 7. above.
12. Sill plates as well as any other lumber in direct contact with concrete must be species
'Group B', and #2 grade or better, and must be pressure treated to a minimum retention of .4
lbs./cu.ft.
L3. Alt glue laminated timbers must be a minimum of 20F (Fb : 2000 psi) or better, and must be
flat camber in all applications. In all exterior applications, all glue laminated timbers must be
sealed and protected from moisture with an appropriate preservative.
14. All heavy timbers must be of DF, minimum grade #1, and RS .
1.5. Provisions must be made to provide for induced draft radon venting beneath the blab on
grade floor in the lir.i.g space so that installation of a vent fan(s) may be performed in the
future if radon testing indicates that it is necessary.
