(a) The structural integrity of each chamLrer, endcap and other accessory manufactured by
lnfiltrator ('Unils"), when installed and operated in a leachfield of an onsite septic system in
accordance w¡th lnfiltr¿tor's instruclìons, is wananted to the original purchaser ("Holder") against
defeclive materials and workmanship for one year from the date that the sept¡c permit is issued for
ihe septic system containing the Units; provided, however, that if a sÊptic permit is not requíred by
applicable law, the rvananly period will begin upon the date lhat insiallalion of the septic system
commences. To exercise its wananty rights, Holder must notify lnfiltrator in writing at its Corporate
Headquarters in Old Saybrook, Connectícut wilhin fifteen (1 5) days of the alleged defect. lnfiltlator
will supply replacement Unils Tor Units detennined by lnfìltlator to be covered by this Limited
Warmnþ. lnfiltralor's liabilþ specifically excludes the coßt of removal and/or installation
of the Units.
{bi THE LIMITËD WARRANTY AND REMEDIES ¡N SUBPARAGRAPH {a) ARE ÊXCLUS¡VE.
THEHE ARE NO OTHËR WARHANTIES WITH BESPECT TO THE UNITS, INCLUDING NO
IMPLIED WAFìRANTIES OF MÊRCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR Â PARTICULAR PURPOSE
(c) This Limited Warranty shall be void if any part of the chamber system is manufactured by
anyone other than lnñltnior. The Limited Wananty does not extend to incidental, consequentiaì,
special or indirect damages. lnfiltrator shall not be liable for penaities or liquidated damages,
including loss of production and profils, labor and materials, overhead costs, or othet losses or
expenses incurred by lhe Holder or any ihird party. Specifically exçluded from L¡m¡led Warranty
cûverage are damage to the Units due to ordinary wear and teaç alteration, accident, misuse,
abuse cr neglect of lhe Units; the Units being sublected to vehicle tratfic or Õther conditions which
are not permitted by the installation instructions; fai¡ure to mainlain the minimum ground covers
set lorth in ilp irntallation instructions; the placement of improper materials into the system
containing the Units; failure of the Unils or the septic system due to improper siting or improper
sizing, excessive water usage, ¡mproper glease disposal, or improper operation; or any otheÍ
event not caused by lnfiltrator. This Limited Wananty shall be voìd it the Hoider faìls to comply
wlth all of ihe terms set forth in this Limited Warranly. Further, in no event shall lnfilfator be
responsible for any loss or damage to the Holder, the Units, or any third party resulting from
lnstallation or shiprnent, or from any product liability claims of Holder or any third party. For this
Llmited Wananty to apply, the Units must be installed in accordance with all sìte conditions
required by state and local codes; all other applìcable laws; and lnfiltrator's installation ¡nstructions.
(d) No representaiive of lnfillrator has the authority to change or extend this Limited Warranty.
No warranty appliæ to any parly other than the oríginal Holder.
The above represents the Standard Limited Warranty offered by lnfiltrator. A limited number of
states and counlies have different wananty requirements. Any purchaser of Un¡ts should contact
lnfiltrato/s Corporate Headquarters in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, prjor to such purçhase, to
obtain a copy of the applicable wananty, and should carelully read that urarrânty prior to the
purchase of Un¡ts.
