Matt,
I was contacted by Tate Fairbanks, General Contractor regarding some framing
questions/issues. I went to the project site and walked through ¡t w¡th Tate to review
these. This letter is a follow up to my site inspection for Unit B.
The floor Jolsts over the kitchen area were changed to TJI 210 series (360 series
specifled! due to availability and have been packed out and nailed off on each side of
the TJfs in an acceptable manner. The spans for these are minimal and meet the
applicable tables. 5o the addit¡onal pack out minimizes the deflection even further.
The custom welded hanger and bolting pattern support¡ng the LVL's and tying them to
the other LVL beam pack is acceptable and carries more strength than any available
hanger from Simpson. So, this is a far better acceptable opt¡on'
The garage framing above the golf cart storage was reviewed on site and is acceptable.

The simpson EsR-2523 hangers used create a positive connection where we have column packs
tying lnto beams above (garage, foyer and basement). These hangers are acceptable.
