The Jammaron's plan to build a single family residence on their property and are awaiting final structural, architectural, and septic design on the home. Once design drawings are complete, they will be submitting for a building permit through Garfield County. ln the meantime, they would like to begin improving the existing driveway that extends from Deer Park Court to their future home site. They are seeking a driveway permit through Road and Bridge and are also seeking a Minor Grading Permit through Community Development. The Minor driveway improvements generally include the following: Widen entrance to make turn movements in and out easier and safer. Re-grade the existing driveway to include a cross slope of 2% inlo the hillside. Add a borrow ditch on the inside of the driveway to carry stormwater and snowmelt. Add culverts at strategic locations to remove water out of the borrow ditch. Culverts are to be installed under the driveway and to include riprap erosion protection at the outlets. Widen the driveway at strategic locations to allow vehicle passing and to allow fire truck turn movements to access the future homesite. Prepare a fire truck turnaround at the homesite and top of the driveway. Add a Nyloplast Drain Basin at the bottom of the borrow ditch that will tie into the existing culvert that crosses Deer Park Court. This Drain Basin will help to eliminate the current issue of drainage washing out across Deer Park Court at the bottom of the existing driveway. lf you have any questions or need any additional information, please call (970) 7O4-O3IL.
