At the time of our site visit, the contractor had installed the new effluent filter in the existing 1,000-gallon two-compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, and the four row gravelless chamber bed. The chamber rows of the bed were level. The bed consisted of four rows of 14 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per row (56 total chambers, 672 ft2 total STA). Additionally, inspection ports were present at each corner of the bed. In our opinion, this system was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. Please submit an As-built drawing of the system when available. No further action or review from Garfield County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
