As requested, structural steel special inspection was conducted per the IBC 2018
Edition - Chapter rzi StructuralTests and Special Inspection and Garfield County
,..quü.*.ng. I arrived on-site at 8:45 AM. i met with you to review the material to be
inspected and project requirements'
Visual welding inspection was conducted on the 2nd floor balcony and supporting
structure on the froni of the residence according to the on-site plans supplied by Canyon
rngineering, Inc. I observed the column to baseplate fillet welds, the column to beam
nifãt we¡¿sl'Ueam to shear plate fillet welds, the angle brage to shear plate fillet welds,
ânã tne hahdrail to column fillet welds. Upon completion, I observed all fillet welds to be
¡n ioról¡rnce with project specifications and the visual welding requirements as stated
in Ctauie I of the AWd Dl.1 Structural Welding Code - Steel: 2020 Edition.
This final report concludes the steel erection phase of this project.
