Provided that the over frame is done properly and strutted down to the trusses
below so as not to create point loads then it is acceptable.

Left hand side of the A1 trusses over the garage. The building inspector wants to know/see
that it is acceptable to have over framing on this side of these trusses. The location is over
the common wall between the garage and habitable structure of the home. Your plans
show over framing as do the ARchitectural sheets, but nothing in writing (that we could find)
on the truss shop drawings confirming that additional DL is acceptable.

I believe that wall under the C gable is bearing as the engineer has it
called out as a thickened slab detail. I can bring him in on the
conversation if needed.
