We have a private septic system. lt was designed wíth the futurebathroom/bedroom back in 2016.2. The historic lower levelfloor plan depicts 3 window openings, however it is unclear if the existing windows are'fixed" or "operable". Please providemore details. Are you installing any new windows with this basement finish? lf so, provide detaÍls. lf the two 4026 windows are "fixed" then thebasement finished livíng space may require mechanical ventilation pursuant to 201"5 IRC Section R303.4, as there appears to be no sources of naturalventilation to the outdoors now. The (212646 windows in the bedroom are operable. The windows ín the family room 4026 are fixed. No newwindows will be installed.3. The historic lower level floor plan shows one continuously open room wíth the mechanical / storage room open to remaining basement space. 3.a. I have highlightedthe proposed non bearing partions in the attached drawíng. We are framing all walls with the basement finish guide from the lCC. All baseplates aretreated 2x4's. All non bearing walls will be framed 2ft on center for stud framing. l've attached the guide.4. ls there more than 7 ft ceiling heíght from the existing / proposed basement floor to proposed ceiling above? Yes. Are there any portions ofthe basement floor plan where ceílíng height will be less than 7 ft height? No.5. How will the basement be heated for human comfort? Radiant infloor heat.(already ínstalled) Exísting furnace, with supply and returns? Existingboiler wíth existing infloor radiant heating? Please provide detaí1.6.
