On January 22, 2022, we visited the site of the Redman Residence under construction at
TBD Scutter Lane near Rifle in Garfield County, Colorado to observe the OWTS installation
pursuant to OWTS Permit # SEPT-7300. At the time of our site visit, the owner had installed the
new sewer line and cleanout adjacent to the residence, the new poly 1,250-gallon two-
compartment septic tank, the new effluent line, the distribution box, and one gravelless bed. The
septic tank and distribution box were installed level but needing access brought to grade. An
effluent filter had been installed in the outlet tee of the septic tank. The trenches were level. The
trenches consisted of 17 Infiltrator Quick4 chambers per trench (68 total chambers, 816 ft 2 total
STA). Inspection ports were present at each end of each trench. Photos of the installed
distribution box riser and septic system risers on March 13, 2023. In our opinion, this system
was installed in general conformance with Garfield County OWTS Regulations. Please submit
an As-built drawing of the system when available. No further action or review from Garfield
County Environmental Health is required regarding this permit.
