Reference attached plat note #1 (see red underline) for this requirement. Please submit (2) copies at24" x 36" size to our office at your earliest opportunity. r Soils Report- Please provide a copy of the site specific soils report as referenced on Structuraldrawings. o lnsulation at Thermal Envelope - Provide us with additional information about how the concrete lCFs (walls, floors, roofs) will comply with 2009 IECC minimum R-Value requirements as per Table 402.1.1 (for example: wall sectio ns/deta i ls or ma n ufactu re r's prod uct i nfo rm ation ). ¡ Waterproofing at Below Grade Foundation Walls - Provide additional information about waterproofing materials & drainage at below grade basement foundation wall (wall/floor sections). Additional detailing, specifications and/or Mfr's. product information may be used to demonstrate compliance with Code requirements - specifically compatibility with the ICF product. ¡ Engineering Required for Retaining Wall - The two-tiered retaining wall adjacent to the corner of the garage is required to be Engineered, as we calculate the overall height of double-tiered walls like this (7'-6" in this case). Provide detail as stamped by a Colorado licensed P.E. Thank you for your prompt attention to these outstanding items. We will place plans in our "pending" files until all of these outstanding items have been addressed. I have attached the soils report that we have. This is a little dated but when I talked to the engineer at HP Geotech he said that the report was still good and the information wouldn't change if we were to get a new one. lf required he will re-issue this report with a current date. This was the soils report used by the structural engineer. For the roof insulation envelope we have an effective panel thickness of 1"3", this would be >R-28, plus 3" of polyiso on top of the deck providing an additional R-L5. Total roof >R-43. Documentation of the panel R-value comes from the manufacture and the Polyiso data is from two reference documents and the lowest recommendation was taken. For the wall assemblies I have attached a document that has a chart on page 10 that depicts all of the panel and wall thickness options. This is a code compliance research report and also lists some useful information pertaining directly to the Quad-Lock product family of IFC's. For the below grade waterproofing information I have attached a document from Quad-Lock on the recommended method. This includes a peal and stick sheet product that is rated for use on EPS foam and a dimple mat on top of the sheet product to eliminate hydrostatic pressure. This dimple mat will run all the way to the foundation perimeter drain around the entire foundation. Please let us know if you require additional information for these three line items. Like I mentioned on the phone today I hope to have a stamped grading and drainage plan by the end of next week for you to review. Thanks for your time and have a great week.
