Hello Karl,
After talking with John Plano, Chief Building Official, we are reaching out to request further documentation on the
proposed SNOWLOAD design for Phil Castine's building at 1447 CR 321, Squires Minor Subdivision, Lot 1.
03/13/2023 CONCERN WITH SNOWLOAD:
See Sheet 110. Clouded Building Design Loads shows a Ground Snowload Pg = 40 PSF and the Designed Balanced Roof
Snowload shows same figure oÍ = 4O PSR
See Sheet 170. Stamped clearspan truss and structural endwall truss details both show a Pg = 40 PSF, Pf = 30.8 PSF and
TCLL = 40 PSn
We are asking the Structural Engineer of Record to provide some clørificotion and to confirm in writing snowlood doto is
correct ond will meet Garfield County's Pf = 40 PSF roof snowload requirements (see ottochments) as the informotion
appeors conflicting.
